the big league chew is an experience i had only recently. as a child i was not permited indulgence of the sweet items. wherever the sweet items lived, i would be lurking, waiting until their guardian had turned away to teach my sister how to read, and then i would spirit them away to a bible flash card box under my bed? i think it was? i dont remember exactly but it was full of atomic fireball wrappers. i ate a lot of atomic fireballs as a kid because this one particular teacher always had them and procurement of less painful-to-consume confectionary from other teachers’ stashes was a much more challenging undertaking as they literally didnt trust me at all i think it was all the theft and a little bit of the accent imitation

anyway no one had the BLC when i was a child in the schools or a hideous adolescent when i was in the schools or even when i became the most hunched over young adult in the schools. it was only through my spirit animal “clane odoh time criminal” that i learned about the BLC. well i didnt learn about it from him, i knew it existed, but he wanted it and i sent him a 12 pack. I also sent me a 12 pack to check it out, then i sent me a 12 pack of the STRAWB flavor as well because STRAWB is all right but i hate grape. i have not tried the others yet but it is on “the list” insofar as the list is an ordered series of things i need to try and not a formless jumble of sounds i hear coming from either inside or outside the walls when ive just about fallen asleep

the original is the superior flavor and also the superior texture. the flavor difference i dont mind much, but there is something off about the texture of the STRAWB. it is tougher, like an overcooked meat, and the toughness somehow mutes the ability to really get your mouthparts into the flavor; with the original, the softness and “giviness” of the gum really lets you get all that flavor out and swishing about. not so with STRAWB. with STRAWB there may yet be vestiges of untapped flavor forever guarded by the uncooked meatiness of the texture
thoughts on other flavors to follow and also: orignal bubble gum – is it just banana? i think it is

WHAT IF THERE WERE A SPELL CALLED “DISCONTINUED FLARE” THAT DID 20% NORMAL DAMAGE BECAUSE IT’S DISCONTINUED?
